Ms. Asha Nayak earned her BPT from Bombay University, her MPT in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and her International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Lactation Counselor (IYCF) certifications (IBCLC).She has been employed as a certified lactation counselor with the Breastfeeding Network in India for 11 years before relocating to USA. She has helped moms with proper placement and latching, provided advice on the benefits of breastfeeding, assisted with breast milk expression and storage, managed engorgement issues, and demonstrated the use of breast pumps and milk expression techniques. She has led regular classes for nurses on lactation and breastfeeding.
